Tag Heuer introduced the all-new Carrera ‘Glass Box’ models expanding their expensive Carrera lineup
The Tag Heuer Carrera is undoubtedly among the best Chronographs one can buy today. First released in 1963, Tag Heuer had competition with Rolex’s Daytona watches. To celebrate the 60 years of its iconic Carrera model, the company has introduced three new models as a tribute to its legendary past. Design
The Tag Heuer Carrera Glass Box looks apart from the Daytona models with its unique case design that makes their chronograph different from Rolex. The watchmaker constructed the case with a plexiglass crystal that slightly curved over the edge of the case. The watch enclosed a bezel under the crystal that looks like a bezel itself with its perfect blend. This time, the company returned a similar design language and used a curved sapphire instead of plexiglass. The watch comes with a diameter of 39mm and provides a smaller overall design than the Chronograph model while the Tourbillon model comes in a large 42 mm size.
Both Chronograph and Tourbillon models come in two different color shades with a black and blue color choice. The Tag Heuer Glass Box looks appealing and aesthetically pleasing with its neat design and precision timing.
