Zenith Collaborated with NFL Quarterback Aaron Rodgers for its Limited-Edition Chronomaster Sport
Zenith has joined forces with NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers to introduce a limited-edition Chronomaster Sport watch. It is adorned in the colours of the New York Jets and packs a new high-frequency El Primero chronograph calibre that is capable of measuring and displaying 1/10th of a second.
it was designed by Aaron Rodgers, the ambassador of the brand and one of the most celebrated quarterbacks in American football. The watch prominently features the colour green, which describes his journey from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets. Rodgers brags an impressive career including a Super Bowl championship in 2011 and four MVP Awards.
Design
The Chronomaster Sport originally launched in 1969, came with the groundbreaking El Primero automatic chronograph movement. The incredible movement was updated in 2021 and came with a 1/10th of a second display. This special edition is inspired by Aaron Rodgers’ association with the New York Jets. The watch comes with a green ceramic bezel that showcases the 1/10th of a second scale. It maintains the sporty aesthetic of the Chronomaster Sport with its gorgeous 41mm case, pump-style pushers, and a three-link steel bracelet.
The green lacquered dial, finished with a sunburst effect blends luminescent Arabic numerals inspired by the player jerseys of the New York Jets. The watch’s sub-dials show 60 minutes and 60 seconds and stand out with their anthracite, light grey, and silver shades. The Zenith Chronomaster Sport Aaronn Rogers Edition also offers luminescent hour and minute hands, along with a central chronograph seconds hand with a yellow tip which ensures excellent legibility. The Calibre El Primero 3600 automatic movement operates at a frequency of 36,000vph/5Hz. It offers precise timekeeping down to 1/10th of a second and a 60-hour power reserve.
Price
The Zenith Chronomaster Sport Aaron Rodgers is a limited edition with only 250 pieces available through Zenith boutiques and online starting from November 2, 2023. The price for this exclusive timepiece is CHF 11,900 (USD 12,800).
